You’ll need to have a graphic designer create the masthead the way you want it to look. If you don’t know or can’t find someone locally, we recommend you check out these two sites: UPWORK and FIVERR for graphic artists who can create it for you. (Be sure to give them the following specifications the images you’ll need must meet).
Technical Specifications for Your Header image:
You will need two mastheads one for your emailed newsletter and one for your website version. Each is independent of the other so you can choose to have both the same or different. You can have one use the standard layout while the other is custom. It’s your choice.
- The Email Masthead image must meet these specifications:
- Dimensions of the email header image must be 150px high x 594 wide.
- Have a resolution of 96-120dpi.
- MAX FILE SIZE IS 125KB in jpg or png format, closer to 55KB is desirable
- (Do not use 300dpi images!)
- The Website Masthead image must meet these specifications:
- Dimensions of the header image must be: 121 - 165px high X 954px wide.
- Be less than 250K in size in jpg or png format
- Have a resolution of 96-120dpi.
- (Do not use 300dpi images!)
